KAWA Begins Preparations for Newroz 2027! 🌸☀️
A Celebration of Culture, Unity, Hope, and New Beginnings
The Kurdish Association of Washington (KAWA) is excited to announce that preparations are beginning for our Newroz 2027 celebration!
Newroz is more than the arrival of spring. It is a celebration of renewal, hope, cultural identity, and the traditions that bring Kurdish communities together across generations.
As we look ahead to Newroz 2027, we are preparing to create another meaningful opportunity for families, friends, and community members to gather, celebrate, and share the beauty of Kurdish culture.
Celebrating Our Heritage Together
Building on our previous Newroz celebrations and cultural gatherings, we hope to make Newroz 2027 a memorable occasion filled with community spirit, cultural traditions, and joyful connections.
Our planning will focus on creating a welcoming celebration where children, young people, families, and elders can come together and experience the spirit of Newroz.
Be Part of the Celebration!
Community participation is at the heart of everything we do.
We welcome individuals, families, artists, community partners, and volunteers who would like to contribute ideas, share their talents, or help with preparations.
Whether you have celebrated Newroz your entire life or are discovering Kurdish culture for the first time, you are welcome to be part of this special occasion.
More Details Coming Soon!
The event date, location, program, and participation details will be announced as planning progresses.
